PURPOSE

Be part of a dynamic team and play an active role in the receivables management process! The person will be called  to conduct analyses, make recommendations and follow or introduce best practices into the internal process.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Responsible for all collections, customer rebates and claims relating to all major accounts. 
  • Act as a liaison between the different departments while promoting continuous process improvement. 
  • Lead investigation on customer chargeback claims. 
  • Monthly AR Reporting. Including monthly reconciliation of customer rebate programs. 
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned during peak periods. 

 

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or College degree in Accounting or related field combined with respectively 3 or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in claims processing in the manufacturing or distribution field.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good sense of initiative, teamwork, and excellent judgment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is an asset.:
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is essential: This is an essential requirement, since in this role you will have to deal with customers, partners and/or foreign subsidiaries on a recurring basis, both orally and in writing.
